Cross Creek Academy also provides an atmosphere for teens struggling with self-esteem and emotional growth. Cross Creek Academy is located near Zion National Park in southern Utah. The program is situated on a beautiful campus. The youth experience a mixture of southwest courtesy, old west heritage and American nostalgia. It is placed on the entrance road to Zions, a one-hour drive from St George, Utah. This school is the model for all the regional schools. It consists of an academy in a secure campus high school setting. The High School is shared during the day by the CrossCreek For Boys Program and the Cross Creek Manor (girl) program during the school day. These two programs have seperate locations for dorm and counciling activities. The Academy students are those needing little in the way of emotional or corrective treatment for many teen problems. But these students need a secure and monitored educational experience free from drugs and gang elements often found in public settings.
